Skylanders Trap Team Review

Well I guess it's about I wrote a review about a console Game, so here's:

Game Review

Okay, Okay, OK! I know that skylanders is considered a game for seven year-olds and all but I have to admit, this game is pretty awesome! I'm only on Chapter 7 in this game and I already love it! Previously I played Skylanders Giants, I actually haven't finished that yet as my brothers been hogging the Xbox >.> 

But seriously, this game is great!  

I suppose I should give you a summary of the entire story of the game series so far. It all starts of when the evil lord Kaos (Pronounced as Chaos) send the Skylanders, who are the protectors of the skylands, to earth where they turn into toys. (and also somehow get put in packaging, placed in stores and are duplicated over 3 thousand times.)  And then when we, the humans or as the skylanders call us, the portal masters, buy them with the game and the portal we help the skylanders defeat lord Kaos, it's basicly the same through most of the games but with a couple of details change, sometimes there big impact on the plot other times there's not. Anyway let's skip a couple of games and head straight to the latest one, Trap Team. The name kinda gives it away, theres a team that traps bad guys. 

Overall Story line Rating:   

3.5/5 stars.
I really like this story line and pretty sure others would do too, but I find that there's a lot of repetition, which is pretty normal for a game like this, but overtime it does start to get a little boring with the same evil guy and pretty much the same plot.


So now that we've got the main story out of the way, let's focus on the actual game.

Overall Game-play and controls Rating:

4/5 Stars
The game-play is pretty good and recently they've added the jump (by pressing A) button which makes it much better and closer to other games that are similar to slanderers. Idk why, but just having the Jump button makes a game feel more natural. I also like the way you need to save up coins to buy upgrades for your attacks. I think this allows you to sort of work harder and spend a little more time collecting coins allowing yourself to improve in the overall game. 


Now I'm gonna take a look at this from a more 'business' stand point. 
They way they've used 'Bringing toys to life' is very smart. It's an ideal way to make money, to get your customers to buy these skylander figures in order to complete certain levels in a game. Although it maybe a pain for parents at times, it's a pretty smart trick to use whilst devolving a game. 


So it was a little short, but this concludes my review for skylander's trap team!

Introduction To Skylar

Hello, I'm Archergirl's friend. My IBF (Internet Best Friend) to be exact, I record with her and play. I'll tell you a bit about myself (But not personal things) and what I do; this is my introduction to you all!

Hai x, I'll tell you about my real life right now. Well, I live in Scotland, In the UK of course - and no, we don't wear kilts and eat haggis and drink irn bru all the time. Anyways, I live with my Mother, Father, older Brother and younger Sister. I live in a bungalow with 2 rooms in the roof, one of the room's I live in. I love going on Holiday to warm places. The best one I've been in the last two years is Bulgaria, The hotel I went to had a water park; it was massive!

I love-love-love-love-love-love-love, love music. I play the trumpet, guitar, (not really, I got one though) digeridoo and violin. Not that much but I'm working on doing more, I want to be a musician when I'm older. I'm also interested in fossils, and the stars.... It's something about them that makes me interested, the way the stars brightly glow just makes me feel warm inside of me. Or the way fossils and History fit together like a jig-saw puzzle. I also like reading and writing, when I read it gives me many idea's for a story, I put it together in my head and think about it. How I imagine every action and word the person says.

Sorry I haven't been posting much for the past century. 
I was busy with school and watching tons of anime - ...Okay I'll be honest, I barely got any school work, it was mainly the anime that was keeping me busy. 
Speaking of anime, You should all watch Fairy Tail and/or Hunter x Hunter along with Sword art online.

(Spoiler)... I'm still not over Yuuki DYING!!! After everything they still killed her!

Whilst we're on the topic, anyone playing the remakes of sapphire and/or ruby? 

Me? Oh, I would be if my parents would let me buy a damn 3DS but noooooo! It's too expensive and yet my mum buys a frickn' goes and buys a hundred pound hair dryer with a matching brush.

Am I the only one with parents like that? I don't mean to stero-Type but it's mainly the Pakistani/Indian Asian Parents that do that.

If your clever you would have learnt about some of my origins from that statement.

Updates?

Hi Everyone! Archergirl here! And this blogpost won't be very interesting at all, its pretty much an Update about the blog and my life. So recently I entered A Roald Dahl Competition and guess what - I won! Along with around 12 others people, out the entire year in my  school (Around 100 or more people had entered)  This mean I get to publish my own book! Isn't that awesome?! So you might see my book in the library next time you go! xD Anyway, what I really wanted to say is that I'll be putting a lot of my time into that and I'll still be updating but maybe less. Vivas' Station

Welcome ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, adult and children of all ages! Thank you for taking your time in reading this! I would fist like to apologize in taking so much time in updating, Reason: Procrastination! I'm lazy asf. 

So In today's blog post, I'm writing about a friend of mine, his channel: 

Vivas' Station

Vivas' Station produces excellent, great quality videos, mainly on Habbo Hotel. Although his video editing skills aren't exactly the best things in world, he still has an excellent plot line and amazing ideas! His current top Habbo Hotel Series is: Fatal Street

Fatal Street is a soap opera, kind of like Coronation street but on Habbo Hotel with pixel figures and chat rolling up the screen instead of actual talking...

Trust me - It's still great! 

Fatal street is currently finishing up on they're 2nd season and in some months time, Season 3 will hopefully be coming! In my opinion I think the season 2 finale episodes will be one of the best, as one of the actors in the series myself, I can tell Vivas has put his heart and soul into the last few episodes (The one with the crazy-ily cool explosion, *cought* I helped with the effects *cough*) 

 Another amazing series of Vivas is: Walkers. 

This time, it's about a zombie Apocalypse, sort of like the walking dead. Walkers has only just started, currently there are only 2 episodes and many more are still to come. Already, I can tell Walkers will have bigger, better and more supercalifragalisticexpialadous effects that any other thing he has worked on. 

Vivas's Station also contains let's plays and series from other games like Toontown Re-written and more! Vivas has also done a tutorial on creating your very own game on scratch! He also occasionally puts up amazing songs from Shakira, Nicki Minaj and other great artists! 

So you can see here Vivas' Station is the channel you should subscribe to! Oh and did I mention that I'm apart of lots of his Habbo Hotel shows and so is the cast of statsque? Oh and he's apart of my very own Island Survival and Statsque! Speaking of Statsque, I've seen the script for then next episode, It's looking AMAZING!

Evil Unicorns?!

Evil Unicorns?!

Woah, woah, woah, woah, woah, woah - Wait. Unicorns are cute, friendly magical creatures that help people. Not EVIL...Terraria... WHAT DID YOU DO

So earlier today  I was on my xbox, playing Terraria. You know, just adventuring, fighting those annoying slimes hat could be even more annoying than my little brother - and that's really saying something, until I stumbled across a strange new place. The Trees were pink, yellow and blue.. the grass was not green - it was blue! There were flowers everywhere... It was magical. Suddenly...TWINKLE TWINKLE, NIEGH, ZAPP ZAPP ZAPP, DEATH. 

Weren't expecting that were you?

Neither did I. 

Them me explain it to you if you failed to understand. 

So there I was, looking around this new area I had just Discovered and out of no were 3 unicorns suddenly appear and start to zapp me! Like what?!?!?! I was too shock to act and they ended up killing me - I lost ALL my money.

...

Ok I'm done. 

So thankyou Terraria, now you know why I'll be screaming or having a panic attack  every time I see a unicorn

7 ways to RAGE uncontrollably in Minecraft

Where have I been you ask?
No, I have not gained a 'socail life' and went *shivers* ...outside. I remember when I had enough courage to actually GO outside, I know, what was I thinking? No Youtubers (Danisnotonfire, Amazingphil, Ibalisticsqiud, Stampylonghead, SquaishQuack, Tyler Oakley, ThatcherJoe, IISuperWomanII etc. - Annoyed at that fact Google Chrome picks up "Youtubers" as a spelling mistake.) No undo button, Judge-mental, popular teenage girls that wear too much make-up and judge everything you do, that is not place for an incredibly socially awkward Internet/Gamer Nerd like me. *Shivers* I still get nightmares. WE MUST NEVER VENTURE OUTSIDE.
My life still belongs to the best invention in the entire universe - the internet. 

Anyway, That's beside the point, as Interesting and Exciting my life is, (Note the sarcasm) my Epic-ness only is in full blast when I talk about Epic Games, like Minecraft, and that's what I'll be talking about right now. 

So Here's

7 ways to RAGE uncontrollably in Minecraft

Before I begin, I just wanna say, I'm guilty of all these annoying Rage Moments. We've ALL been there.

Also these aren't in any particular order.


1) Death by Fall Damage 

OH MA GAUD! I can tell you, NOTHING, is more annoying than falling down a giant pit after like a years worth of mining and priceless items (E.g: DIAMONDS) and are probably the last ones that exist in your world. This makes me RAGE like crazy, even if do try to stay calm, I can't, nothing is more annoying to see that awful tinted red background with the words "Your Dead" on your screen, just taunting you about your accidental death. Do you know what else is really Annoying? When you PURPOSELY fall and it seems like you WILL Survive but no, you don't, - and on the rare occasions that you do survive, its the middle of the night and a skeleton shoots you when your on half-a-heart. #1DRefence! Haha! Fangirl right here! Anyone else? No? Okay fine you haters. 



2) Digging Above/Under yourself

Now we all know this one very important rule in Minecraft - Don't Dig/Mine Above or Under yourself. I'm Certain even the noobs know this. (Annoyed at the fact Google Chrome picks up "Noobs" as a spelling mistake) So you've been watching a load of youtubers playing Minecraft who chose to courageously ignore this rule and take the risk by digging either above or under themselves - and nothing happens. So your inspired by the great amount of luck these youtubers have had, and then you chose to take your chances and dig above/under yourself, your digging away then suddenly - Sand falls on your face and suffocates you or you fall into a crazy bottomless pit. WHY?!?! THIS ALWAYS HAPPENS! Why do youtubers have SOOO much luck, and when we attempt this, WE FAIL. Why? Hm... Maybe fancy over-layed editing... 



3)  Miss-reading Potion Names

Hold on, I'm typing kinda slow. *Drinks Swiftness Potion* That's better. *Suddenly starts getting hurt.* Woah?! What's happening! *Opens inventory Menu, Sees poison Sign* OMG! I thought it was a Swiftness potion!

4) Late Night Fights then a Skeleton Arrow

Picture this: You've been out mining, you've found a load of Iron & gold, even some Diamonds, but there's a dilemma - It's night time. So like a boss, you take out your new diamond sword and fight off all the monsters. You did it! Your just a block away from your house with only half-a-heart (Hehehe, #1DRefences) then FLAPLING. A Skeleton Shot you. RIP. 

LIKE WHAT?!??! WHY DOES THE UNIVERSE HATE ME?!

5) Drowning Under Ice

That Pretty Much Sums it all up for me.

6) Creepers

I'm not even going to talk about this point. We all know what happens here. 



7) Trolls 

Who else hates it when you playing with buddies and they decide to drop lava 'accidentally' *Cough* Not *Cough* down the very same mine your in. Thank you Friends.
